Week of April 10, 2017

Dear Parents:

It was a fabulous week in second grade. Several items went home in your Friday folder that need attention. You will see the third nine weeks report card. Please keep the report card, sign the envelope, and return the envelop. There is also a half sheet of yellow paper that is your enrollment form for next year. Please complete and return the form even if you student will not be returning to Spicewood. There is no school this coming Friday, April 14. We will have library on Thursday instead. Please send library books in on Thursday.  The next baggie book turn in will be Monday, April 17.

In the classroom:

We have been learning about advertisements and the techniques advertisers use. Students used Piktochart to create an advertisement for the book Lemonade Wars as a practice. This week students will create an advertisement for the products they will sell at Market Day. Students will have the choice of creating it on the computer or on paper.
