Week of August 31 - September 4, 2015 Dear Parents, Thank you for such a wonderful start to the new school year.  It is going to be a fun and exciting learning year. A few reminders: Friday folders will go home this week.  Please sign and return them on Monday. Students went to the library on Friday. Week of August 25, 2016 Welcome to our second grade class family.   I am so happy to have everyone in my class this year.  I hope you have a chance to come to meet the teacher at 2:30 on Monday, August 24.   Important information for the first week.   In the yellow packet you will find a lunch menu, a letter from me with important contact information, a class schedule, a volunteer sign-up letter, a student contact information letter, a letter from the nurse, and various items from the PTA.  Please send back the student contact information letter on Tuesday.  All other items can be return by Friday, August 28.  Please send a healthy snack each day and a refillable water bottle.   Recess our first week will be at 10:40.  Starting the second week of school we will return to our normal schedule of 2:05 to 2:30 for recess.  A water bottle is very important for recess.   Thank you.   SAVE THE DATE: Our parent orientation is on Thursday, September 10 at 6:00.  This is a great o
