Week of 10-17-16

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for attending our student led conferences. Students did an excellent job in reflecting and thinking about their personal goals for this year.
If your child is receiving principal's pride on Monday, October 24, you received an invitation in their Friday folder. For those of you new to Spicewood, Principal's Pride is an award ceremony held once each nine weeks. In our class students nominate each other based on the attributes of the learner profile. Each child will receive an award some time during the year. The award ceremonies are held at 8:00 in the morning in the cafeteria. I send out an invitation at least a week ahead of the ceremony to give you time to plan to be there. If you have any questions about this, please email me.
Next Saturday is the school community garden building.  If you are interested in helping out there is a sign up online through the PTA website.
